“An absolute gem”

What an excellent village pub. We dropped in here for lunch while out walking. We were met by very friendly and helpful staff who were more than happy to let us sample red wine (which was excellent!) before ordering a glass together with a pint of really nice local beer.

“one of my favourites”

I love locally, and this is one of my favourites from the Lakes, I love eating here. The menu is great with always lots of specials as well, the deco is fresh and different mixed with traditional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone
